Activities

Stanley Park: Explore approximately 400 hectares of rugged West Coast forest in Downtown Vancouver. A 20-minute walk from the hotel you can enjoy various walking paths and the famous Vancouver Seawall. Our Concierge team suggests exploring on foot or by bicycle. Speak with a member of our team to arrange a free on-site bike rental.

Vancouver Aquarium: See dolphins, otters, jellyfish, penguins and more at the Vancouver Aquarium. Since opening in 1956 as Canada's first public aquarium, the Vancouver Aquarium has connected more than 40 million people from around the world to our oceans and all the wonders within them. Be sure to plan ahead and enjoy all of the various experiences the aquarium has to offer while you’re visiting Vancouver!

Granville Island: This former industrial site is now home to multiple artist residences, shops, and the famous Public Market where you can find fresh produce and local, artisanal favourites. Walk around and enjoy the different shops at Granville Island, where we guarantee you’ll find the perfect spot to buy souvenir items.
Insider Tip: Take the water taxi from Beach Road to Granville Island. Lee’s donuts are a must have treat in the Public Market - but get there early to beat the long line!

Capilano Suspension Bridge: Soaring 230 ft high above the Capilano River, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is a must see in North Vancouver. Feel like a kid again as you cross the 450 ft long bridge connecting you from the trees into the park.

Grouse Mountain: Take the shuttle to the mountain and say hello to Grouse Mountain’s resident grizzly bears, Coola and Grinder in their natural habitat. Enjoy various activities and shows or test your endurance on “nature’s stairmaster” otherwise known as the Grouse Grind.

Gastown’s Steam Clock: Walk the cobblestone streets of Gastown towards the iconic Steam Clock. Nestled at the corner of Cambie and Water streets, it's one of only a handful of working steam clocks in the world.
Insider Tip: The clock chimes every 15 minutes from the top of the hour!

Van Dusen Botanical Garden: The Van Dusen Botanical Garden’s are an inspiring 55 acres of outdoor oasis with over 7500 plant species from around the world. Before your trip, check out their bloom calendars for some examples of what you’ll see during your visit!

Sea to Sky Gondola: Take a drive on one of North America’s most scenic highways, the Sea the Sky on your way to the Sea to Sky Gondola. Take the gondola to the top of the Chief and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and Howe Sound.

See some whales in their natural habitat. Let the sea breeze hit your faces as you traverse the Gulf Islands or Howe Sound to see British Columbia’s famous mammals on a Catamaran, Cruisers, or Zodiacs.
